Evelyn’s family works tirelessly to support other families facing similar circumstances.

This fundraiser is in direct support of The Team Evelyn Foundation and their newest efforts of getting a program called RadFlix into the Tom Baker Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This program enables children to watch programs on specially designed technology while in the radiation chamber. It helps to ease anxiety, calm nerves and support these brave warriors.

Evelyn Faye Roy is the adorable child you see in this photo; here is a small portion of her story. Sadly in September 2018, the Roy family was given a shocking and difficult diagnosis, their beautiful 10 year old daughter Evelyn had a soft ball sized tumour in her abdomen. After subsequent testing and many investigations, Evelyn was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer.

After a challenging fight, Evelyn left her family much too soon. She was a warrior when it came to her treatment, facing the worst days with her signature bravery and smile. Her battle was not lost, but fought hard with grace, light and dignity. On February 26, 2020 Evelyn Faye Roy passed away at the tender age of 11 years.
